During these courses we mentor and transfer skills to up and coming wildlife veterinary enthusiasts. I t is also available to any eco tourism enthusiast looking for something unique and tangible showcasing our dedication and passion for conservation.

Enjoy the unique opportunity to work with renowned wildlife veterinarian Dr JC Kriek during wildlife translocation and immobilisation operations. Have a hands-on experience in some of the frequent management procedures on the reserve. This may vary from health checks to rehab of some species, darting antelope from a helicopter or capturing Giraffe. At a private reserve there is always veterinary and herd management procedures to be done and the Kriek Wildlife team can offer you the opportunity to assist and support their conservation efforts.

This package can be tailor made and usually includes darting from the ground or helicopter, movement of animals to different herds or areas or frequent check ups etc. A minimum of 2 hours helicopter time will be booked along with a day rate going towards the conservation efforts on the reserve. Customised packages and costing can be arrange on request. Suitable for all ages.
