The Camelthorn Tree Mattanu Boma
Under the Camelthorn trees and African skies, amidst the and shimmering lanterns, few venues will contribute to your event atmosphere than our African themed boma.
Kick of your shoes and experience the Kalahari red sand under your feet whilst being served some of the best cuisine in SA. Paired with a great wine selection this will contribute to your event being one to remember.
The Boma may be booked alone or as part of an extension of the 1000 seater auction venue for larger events.
Pricing structures:
1-19 people venue hire of R5000 and R200pp for a 3-course dinner cooked on the fire.
20 – 49 venue hire of R4000 and R250 for the menu
50 – 100 venue hire of R6000 and R250 for the menu
Include all crockery, cutlery and basic table setup for 3 course meal.
More than 100 people all cutlery, crockery, tables, chairs, tablecloths etc to be rented through event company and quoted separately.
Bar service included. Wine list available.
Serving of starters, buffet style main course and serving of dessert is our standard procedure.
Basic audio visual equipment can be arranged at R3000
Marimba band can be arranged at R6000
Game drives additional R100pp

Drumming around the fire as corporate team building event at R175pp
Helicopter tours at R6800 per hour excl vat and we can fly 2-3 passengers at a time and around 25 people per hour.
Shuttle busses can be arranged from Kimberley at approximately R1250 per 16 seater bus.
The boma is a child friendly venue although care should be taken around opne fire. Kids (and adults) can bring bicycles and ride around the reserve free of charge, but at own risk. Jumping castles, face painting pony rides etc can be arranged for additional children’s entertainment.
